Open the Discover store and search for Bottles, then install it.
Launch Bottles, and go through the setup prompts until you are at the main screen. Go to the β‘ menu and select Preferences.
Select the Runners tab, expand Wine GE, and download the latest wine-ge-proton runner, which should be located at the top. Then close Preferences.
Select the + button in the top left, enter a name for your new bottle, and select the Gaming environment. Then select Create and wait for the bottle to be created.
Once created, click on the bottleβs bar to open its details. Scroll down, and open the Registry Editor. Navigate to STEAMDECK\\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software
. Right click on the Software
key, select New, then Key to create a new key. Name it KONAMI
.
Right click on the KONAMI key, select New, and then Key again, this time creating a key named SOUND VOLTEX EXCEED GEAR
. It should look like the image below.
Click on the SOUND VOLTEX EXCEED GEAR
key. Right click in the blank space to the right, select New, then String Value. Set the name to InstallDir
. Repeat this step, but for ResourceDir
.
Double click on the string values, and set the paths accordingly to the installation and resource paths noted down from before. The directories must start with Z:
and use backslashes \\
instead of forward slashes. Leave a trailing backslash at the end of the paths. Once done, it should look like the image below.
Close the Registry Editor.
